The Heritage Farmer’s Confederation is an advocacy group dedicated to protecting small farmers and homesteaders across Tennessee. Our focus is on supporting legally operating regenerative farms — including raw milk dairies, pastured poultry producers, small meat processors, and diversified homesteads — by monitoring Tennessee state agencies and the Legislative Branch for any proposed changes that could affect their freedom to farm, sell, and feed their communities.
This organization is established in memory of the late Senator Frank S. Niceley, a true statesman and tireless ally of small farmers across Tennessee.
Senator Niceley was instrumental in legalizing raw milk in 2009 and later in defending raw milk access in 2019 and 2020. His lifelong commitment to agriculture, liberty, and the Tennessee way of life leaves a lasting legacy that continues to inspire us.
The founders of this organization — themselves raw milk farmers and longtime advocates for food freedom — are proud to pick up the torch and carry on Frank’s work.
We miss Frank deeply and are honored to defend the cause he championed so faithfully.
Until we meet again, Sir.
